Tents for Haiti IDEAS...what can you do?

  
Here is the information we need to get out to people:  The Bartlett Community is rallying around a project to help earthquake-ravaged Haiti before the rainy season starts in a month. There is a huge need for TENTS in Haiti before the rainy season.

Please bring tents, new or used, and large tarps to Bartlett High School, or contact us to have them picked up.  A Bartlett High School parent and pilot will be flying the tents down to Haiti sometime around March 20.

Donations will be accepted so that more and larger tents can be purchased.  Donations of goods and money are tax-deductible.

Can you draw?  We need some posters made to put up around the school, and around Bartlett. If you can design a poster on an 8.5" X 11" paper, we can blow it up for posting around Bartlett. We need some flyers designed to pass out in Bartlett, maybe door to door, maybe to various clubs and organizations in Bartlett. Can you design a catchy one?
GOOD WRITER?
Work with Mr. Pahl on getting a press release out to the major newspapers that serve the Bartlett area... Or check this idea out...

Who is going to get this on FACEBOOK?
  • GOT COURAGE?
  • Can you pass out flyers in your neighborhood asking your neighbors to put tents on their porches the morning (or afternoon...) of ____(a certain date) when you will pick them up to help get TENTS to HAITI!!
 Who's a lawyer?
We will need to get permission from the Village of Bartlett to go door to door with these flyers, so someone needs to get the information to the village and get permission for us to go door to door for the next several weeks...
Organize and/or Emcee an event at an area restaurant, bar, etc. to allow Bartlett community members and groups to rally around...have singers, speakers, video, about Haiti's need...TENTS FOR HAITI!!!!
